This Privacy Policy explains how ReSkillify Group LLC (“ReSkillify Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the VerifyAPIs brand and the website at verifyapis.com (the “Site”) and the VerifyAPIs application programming interfaces and data products (the “Services”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you.

By using the Site or the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Lead and contact details — when you submit our web form or email us: your email address, and optionally your name, company, and stated product interest.
• Account and API data — if you register for an API key: account identifiers, billing contact, and the API keys issued to you.
• Communications — messages you send us and our correspondence with you.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and request data — API request metadata (endpoint, timestamp, response status, usage counts for metering and billing), and standard server logs (IP address, user agent).
• Cookies — see our Cookies Policy. The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies and does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data you submit to the Services

When you call our screening or verification endpoints, you may transmit identifiers about third parties (for example, a person’s name or a business name and identifiers) so we can match them against public compliance datasets. We process this data on your behalf solely to return a result; we do not use it to build a profile of those individuals for our own marketing.

2. How we use information

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and Services;
• Respond to inquiries, provision API keys, and deliver requested lists or samples;
• Meter usage, calculate fees, and process billing;
• Send service and transactional messages, and — where permitted — relevant product updates (you can opt out of marketing at any time);
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example, hosting and deployment (Vercel), API hosting/infrastructure, email delivery and contact management (Brevo), and payment/marketplace processing (e.g. RapidAPI, Stripe).
• Our customer relationship management (CRM) system, used to manage inquiries and customer relationships across ReSkillify Group products.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ReSkillify Group, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Public-record and third-party data

Our Services draw on publicly available government datasets (for example, the HHS OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities, SAM.gov, and CMS NPPES data). Information returned by the Services about third parties originates from those public sources. Requests about that data should be directed to the originating agency; we can, on request, tell you the dataset version used.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, deletion — request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal information.
• Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by replying “unsubscribe.”
• Regional rights — depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
